The Verdant Atrium

"A Choreography of Organic Texture and Light"

For this villa in Al Barari, we sought to mirror the lush botanical surroundings by bringing an organic, tactile language into the home’s grand architectural volumes. In the primary living area, we utilized massive floor to ceiling glazing to dissolve the boundary between the interior and the private pool garden, allowing natural light to dance across a palette of oatmeal and sand. We chose a low profile, bean shaped sofa and sculptural lounge chairs to create an intimate conversational cluster that feels fluid rather than rigid.

In the formal dining room, we continued this dialogue by setting a dark, linear table against a backdrop of neoclassical wall moldings and a vibrant, mustard toned tapestry that adds a layer of curated history. We anchored the space with a tiered, mesh chandelier that acts as a translucent sculpture, casting a soft glow over the soft touch tub chairs. By blending these classical details with contemporary silhouettes, we created a residence that feels both monumentally impressive and deeply connected to the serenity of nature.
